Wham bam, thank you mam

It took me 7 hours to get home yesterday but it was totally worth it.

Friday I set off at 11:30 from my house, got the the train station and it appeared my train to Southampton had been cancelled. This shot my entire journey to bits as if I got the next one my connection would have been lost. So I had to go all the way into London and then tube it to Euston where I got the train to Wigan North Western. I ended up getting there at 18:01 and I had to sit on the floor for the entire journey! My bum felt...well actually it didn't feel anything because it was so numb. Emma picked us up and took us to our hotel/pub with rooms 'Winstons' it was a lovely little room and we even had a TV. Gareth and I then went exploring on Wigan town and ended up spending the entire night in Whetherspoons. We befriended a little nu-rave child outside who told us his stories of going to court and ways to get out of being sent down. The list included:

- Fake tears
- Dressing nicely
- Looking scared

All good tips I feel, but I hope that fact he was only 15 isn't a sign of what Wigan youngens are like! I got fairly drunk fairly quickly (What's new?) and then we got some Chinese takeaway from 'Wok U Like' I kept calling it 'Wok again' for some stupid reason, ha. We took it back to our room and I spilt it all over the bed, such a classy drunk. We had a drink with people at the bar, and watched some girl do kareoke, it was wrong in a lot of ways.

We eventually got out of bed at 12:40, Emma called saying "Where are you?" she was out shopping already!Gareth jumped in the shower, it then blocked and some random pub goer came in to fix it, he did the job though and so I had a shower. There was no way I was going out with hair like that! We met Emma in town and she walked us to the JJB. I think it looked pretty nice from the outside and it was nmice inside too, I didn't realise that it only holds 5,000 more than Fratton Park. Damn sight nicer than Fratton Park though, I guess. Hah. The game was pretty mundane except for the last 20 mins when obviously we scored 2 goals and won the match, woo! Wigan looked a bit shocking at times but then we're not much better. Although I think we've proved we're at least alright considering we're 5th in the league still and have won our last 4 matches 3 of which were away! We walked back into town after the match, Emma met David Nugent! Grrr. Soooo jealous. We got KFC and went back to the room to watch X Factor. What a marvellous day for Gareth; Football match which consisted of 2 teams he didn't really care about, forced to watch X Factor, then forced to go and watch England in the Rugby World Cup final! We left the pub at 21:30 though to go pick up Chris from Preston. We had a good journey although half way I realised I needed the loo VERY badly. Then we came across speed bumps, it was not good. Chris, Emma, Gareth and myself went out to Berkley Square (Some random pub place..) I then left my purse in there and had to run back for it, luckily all my stuff was still in it! We then went to Reflex, had a few drinks in there (I was even more drunk than the friday. Oh dear.) Gareth ran out of money to went out to go to cashpoint, then they wouldn't let him back in cos he didn't have a stamped hand. Anyway long short of it was he got pretty mad at me for leaving him out there for all of 10 minutes whilst I finished my drink. Hmph. I made Chris down the best part of a bottle of bud, proabbly a bad idea he was hungover yesterday, ha!

Really lovely to see them though and hopefully it won't be too long before we see them again!

I'm back to work today and it feels like i've not been away, which it a good thing I suppose. Good day to y'all.
