Last night was frickin' awesome! 4th time of seeing Stereophonics, 4th time AND BEST! Oh yes! It was fanfuckingtastic. I'm still feeling like i'm there singing along. Gaaaaaaaa!
In no particular order they played -
Thousand Trees
Last of the Big Time Drinkers
Billy Davies Daughter
Looks Like Chaplin
More Life in a Tramps Vest
Too Many Sandwiches
Same Size Feet
Traffic
Not Up To You
Goldfish Bowl
Check My Eyelids for Holes
Local Boy in the Photograph
+ ALL B SIDES
Had TWO oncors. Only Stereophonics could get away with TWO oncors.
Second oncor they played Wouldn't believe your radio, Pick a part that's new, Just Looking, Maybe Tomorrow, Have a Nice Day and then he simply said "10 minutes left, 2 songs, Dakota and Bartender.". DONE AND DONE. Best night of my life. Absolutely blew me away. Was only suppose to be a gig devoted to the first album - they actually ended up saying "We're just making this up as we go along, Wouldn't believe your radio?" YES PLEASE.
To top it off managed to get a lift off Steve home. Beats the Train! I will remember last night for the rest of my living days for many reasons. It was my teens all rolled up into a 2 hour long set. Bloody brilliant.
Now for a trip to Asda at lunch to purchase new King of Leon Album - who says Mondays are shit?
