Got any Stirrers?

Oh! The weekend was one of the best ever, so eventful!

First time away with Jay, and by the looks of it first of many! :) Friday after work I picked up Jay, went home and skidaddled out the house with the fam for the road trip to scummy slough. Had a bit of a travel duel with Damo as we went different ways, I don't know in what world Dad thought he might win against numero uno fast driver Damo but he did, and alas he didn't. Har har! Although bad times for Jay, Mum and I because we were in the losing car!

We arrived at Travelodge and we each had a family room, £70 for 4 family rooms for 2 nights - I think, ladies & gentleman, that is what we call a BARGAIN.

We all went to the parents room for a small amount of nibbles and began drinking. Champagne and Vodka/Diet Coke's. Boys were on beer. We went to a pub round the corner with the idea of going for some food a bit later on. We all got a bit side tracked in the pub and about 20 million drinks later we were dancing to the band that were playing and some random Ex-England Rugby player called 'The Judge' (I have no idea) started buying us shots. Bad times to be honest. Completely pushed all of us over the edge including Jay who was horrifically ill in the bathroom until at least 2:30am. Eventually he came to bed after i'd been asleep a little while - only to get up and go back to the bathroom, haha aw the poor little love! To be fair he had, had about 5 Jack Daniels, 2 pints, a shot of Sambuca and some champagne. Never mix kids!

We all dragged ourselves out of bed the next day, went to a fry up and then travelling into London. You'd think we'd be able to wal kto the Slough train station with no problems but no, we had to go and find two guinea pigs along the road in a shoe box....RANDOM! So I phoned the RSPCA and tried to save the poor little buggers. It ended up with a bit of a guinea pig chase round Slough as somebody had moved them and the RSPCA called to say they'd gone to pick up the ones i'd reported and they weren't there, then had another report of some guinea pigs in a shoe box in a different place in Slough, I hope they were found... :/ Who would leave two guinea pigs in a shoe box on the street?!

We made it into London after waiting 27 hours at the train station for the stupid train man to process our train vouchers but we eventually got there! Went straight to camden for a little looksy around, ate some yummy food and then headed off to Leicester Square for Alice In Wonderland at the Odeon. A really good film I thought, although for some it may have been an excuse for a little nap! Depp played a great part I think, and 3D was extra goodness! Ate a Curly Wurly and Dad dropped the minstrels all over the floor, it was a stereotypical cinema outing, especially with Damien throwing popcorn at us! We crossed over to Covent Garden and went for a drink in a place called The Porters Inn which was literally a maze! Headed over to The Roadhouse which was amazing! We had dinner and cocktails and there was plenty of bonding going on which was so so awesome! How long have I waited to find someone that ALL my family like and someone that Damo and Ads can get on with? Forever?! This past month has just been totally out of this world and I have not been happier in a long long long longgg while :-) AND he gets to come to Turkey, hoorahhhh! No longer the odd one out, the lonely one, the one with nobody, little old Emily, - I am now Emily, one with a pretty amazing boyfriend!

Jay and I went home a little earlier than everyone else on Saturday night, we were totally flagging, got the train home and went straight to bed, watched Lost on the laptop (Yeah, we're cool) and just generally relaxed. We went on a wild goose chase round Richmond to find a park space eventually Jay, Abby, Caroline and me legged it and went ahead into London. Jay and I went to Camden again and he bought a couple of t-shirts, I picked up some ridiculous glasses for the other two gay boys and saw the most beautiful converse known to man. Purple suede! I realise that sounds vile but they were actually lush. So screw you!

Got home around 7:30, unpacked my stuff, took Jay home and ate some chinese. What a great weekend :)

Right now I am happy happy happy, and it's a gooooooooooood feeling! Bring on more happiness! x
