Mac the knife

I'm starting to really resent some of the people I have as 'friends' on facebook. Most consist of people i've actually spoken to in the last 6 months but a few are very old school friends or to be exact they probably fit more into the category of peopleiwenttoschoolwithwhoineveractuallyspoketo. Do I really want to hear that you've had 2 children by the age of 22 and one of them is now preventing itself from pissing in its knickers? A fair milestone in a small child's life but do you seriously have to broadcast it on every status update on facebook? No, no I don't think you do. I think, I can't be sure, but I think there will be some culling this afternoon.

Friday night I went to Dawn-e's for some immense Chinese. Never thought I would be okay with getting Chinese from somewhere other than the Mai King but it was actually pretty good AND it was from Gosport - this is a massive bonus considering you're more likely to find an assassin in Gosport than a good Chinese. We watched 2 full discs of Gossip Girl before I fell into a coma, I didn't wake up until 10:50am but neither did Dawn-e so it wasn't like she'd been sat awake. I said "Have you been awake long?" She said "No, if I would have punched you in the head by now if I had." Charming.

Saturday was probably the most boring day (don't think i've ever said that!) . It was made slightly less boring by the fact Pompey actually won a game..! Can you believe it? No, neither can I. Even more unbelievable is the fact John 'lazyarse' Utaka managed to score both our goals. Ridiculous, but highly welcome. The only down side is that we now play the scum of all scum in their own back yard which would end in devastation OR it could be the greatest day since I was born. (Which by the way is the official greatest day so far.) I stayed in, had a pretty awesome salad, watched season 2 of Gavin & Stacey including the commentary....and read some of my book. Now I don't know the official term, but i'm pretty sure it's something along the lines of 'cool'. - Or naaaaat.

The blinds have now been installed in my old room so this means it won't be long until i'm turfed out of the lush, cosy, warm double bed goodness of the 'spare' room which i've grown to love over the last few months into child-like single-bed, loneliness of the attic room. I would actually not be surprised if my Mother was at home right now transferring all my stuff upstairs as I type. This remains to be seen when I get home later.

MACCABEES & RUMBLE STRIPS TOMORROW. That is all.
