You can be the peanut butter to my jelly
You can be the butterflies I feel in my belly
You can be the captain and I can be your first mate
You can be the chills that I feel on our first date
You can be the hero and I can be your side kick
You can be the tear that I cry if we ever split
You can be the rain from the cloud when it's storming
Or you can be the sun when it shines in the morning
Don't know if I could ever be
Without you cause you complete me
And in time I know that we'll both see
That we're all we need
Cause you're the apple to my pie
You're the straw to my berry
You're the smoke to my high
And you're the one I wanna marry
Cause your the one for me
And I'm the one for you
You take the both of us
And we're the perfect two
You can be the prince and I can be your princess
You can be the sweet tooth I can be the dentist
You can be the shoes and I can be the laces
You can be the heart that I spill on the pages
You can be the vodka and I can be the chaser
You can be the pencil and I can be the paper
You can be as cold as the winter weather
But I don't care as long as we're together
We're the perfect two.

Concrete Jungle
NEW YORK was AMAZING. It's in capitals, deal with it!
Even though it made me the tiredededest EVER, I had the most incredible time. We did all the general sight seeing and SHOPPING. Oh the shopping was radical! Felt like a tiny fish in the biggest ocean but it was a fab feeling!
Times Square was insane, even more insane than I remembered it. I've learnt the Upper East Side isn't all posh and whatnot. Infact some part are quite ghetto - ahem 73rd and York ave! Is it normal for criminals to pose as police in order to commit crimes against residents? Not sticking around to find out! 5 nights was enough there!
Dawn got mugged off by some 'charity' people. I say charity loosely as they were collecting so their high school basketball team could go on holiday to Florida....not really the kinda of charity I want to be giving to. They managed to squeeze a dollar out of me but it the jackpot with Dawn at $20. Mental. We got over it by our trip on the Staten Island Ferry which was great! Bloody busy but great all the same.
Came accross some proper rude people and some seriously nice folk. i.e Charlie our second taxi driver with his tales of being a new york city cab driver, and Micha, our lovely waitress in Bubba Gump Shrimp! Best restaurant ever ever ever! Can't wait to go back!
I can honestly say my feet have never been so sore from walking. Literally would collapse into bed every night! Totally worth it though, the best way to see everything. We did Rockafeller Center at night and the Empire State Building in the day - both incredible. The views were indescribable. I have pics on Facebook but for your viewing pleasure here is the contrast -

Truly amazing. I couldn't ever imagine living there, I couldn't keep up! The way of life is so busy, and they tip using notes! Ugh!
We packed up our stuff after our trip of a life time and headed to the airport (a full 10 hours before our flight....insane) however we did catch a glimpse of none other than Samuel L Jackson on our flight home! "Get these Motherfuckin' snakes of this Motherfuckin' plane!" Bahahaha, seriously wanted him to re-enact a scene or something! Except obvs without actual real snakes. Eesh.
Great, great holiday and I will definitely be going back! One of my favourite places in the world for sure. Next Stops Vegas and Florida! Yessssssssss!

I left my heart in NYC
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeew Yoooooooork.
Yes indeedy, 2 more days at work (including today) and then i'm jetting off to the big apple. Excited like never before! Nervous cos I haven't been away from Jay for this long in the whole 7 months we've been together buuuuuuut, once i'm on my way i'm hoping i'll be okay! Yeah yeah, i'm a love sick puppy.
This weekend was pretty cool, I got a new piercing. Astounded at how painless it was. Pretty much hurts now though, bummer. Sleeping is a serious issue on my left side. I really should have thought this through since I really like sleeping on that side. Infact, I sleep on a variety of sides, back. Never front, which is odd because I used to sleep on my front when I was little a lot. I find watching people sleep quite fascinating (In all ways other than creepy...). Jay sleeps hugging the pillow or on his back. For the life of me I can't work out why he used to snore like an elephant when we first got together, but now he seems to have stopped almost entirely. Maybe he was just testing me! Teehee.
Went on a treasure hunt yesterday, which to be fair was a total rip off. There wasn't even any treasure. I was expecting cold coins and diamond bracelets. On the other hand I didn't pay anything so I can't really complain. Safe to say it was fun for the first two hours but the last 3 weren't great. That's 3 hours i'll never get back. Onwards and upwards.
Tonight i'm baking and seeing Becca, tomorrow i'll be savouring my time with Jayboy before my 6 days in NYC. I will miss him dearly, he is my little pea!
Today is being slowish, although i'll be damned - it's 11:30. Almost lunch!
Thinking about buying some new headphones at the airport. Our time will be spend browsing the shops and eating brekkie! Gutted we're not flying from T5 or T1 since those terminals have a giraffe in them! Grrr, annoying! Whetherspoon will probably be our option.
Buffet at work tomorrow! Excellent excuse for not bringing any lunch. Wooppee!
