I've got Love for you...

...if you were born in the 80's...!

Calvin Harris was IMMENSE! The best end to the heaviest weekend of my life. I actually don't know how i'm going to recover. I'm thinking about going to sleep on the carpet.

So my first ever visit to Liquid wasn't bad. Infact it was pretty fucking sensational given the fact that CALVIN was there. Christ, I cannot express how much I love this man. It's a little obsessive but those who know me will vouch i'm not a complete weirdo (or not..!). I woke up horrendous late this morning but managed to get ready in record time. Christ i've got to go out tonight, tuesday and wednesday...i'm trying to figrue out a way or how i'm going to make it as I type.

Tonight I have work xmas meal, a little early but it's 50% off in slug and lettuce! They could serve me tripe and i'd still be impressed. Tomorrow seeing White Lies - excited for this since i've had the tickets forever! Wednesday off to the movies with the girls so at least it's a little toned down. Phewph.

This weekend was manic I had too many things to do. Friday, shit I can't even remember what I did friday. I've consumed enough alcohol to inebriate an entire army this weekend. Friday, friday friday...I went somewhere...i'm hoping typing will make it pop into my head. OH! Yes, Alix's 21st birthday party! Disney dress up and I was Mrs Incredible! All the girls made a stella effort, blatantly the best dressed ones there. We eneded p in babylon Becca was wading round with her cardboard fish nemo costume - this was amusing. The night ended in bad fashion to be honest but we're all over it now.

Saturday went out for Becca's leaving meet up thing, it was SO good to see so many old faces from old work! Especially Maffman, aww so so good to see him. Had an odd time in The Deco a place which I won't be going too often, not gonna lie! Ended up in Honest Polli and then Scandals. Got home about 1:30 bless Mike for picking us up at such an hour. Free taxi! Then there was the brilliance of last night, met someone I knew/didn't know, I know what I mean. Amazing night all round with Victor. Maybe we'll go in trafalgar more often...?!

Right, now do excuse me whilst I collapse.

FLASHBACK

Eventful last few weeks to say the least. Family feud to the max, however things kinda turned out for the best even this did involve me feeling totally and utterly SHIT for about 2 or 3 days. Really REALLY hate times like that. Anyway, less of this as plenty of wonderful things happened.

Last friday was...I actually don't think there are any words to describe it. I'll have a go - it was incredibly, insanely, weirdly, random. That doesn't even do it justice. We went to Carlton Club for a couple of drinks and then we got a taxi to Palmeston road, had a cocktail in HKC, contemplated going to Chicago (thank god only comtemplated) and then went to guildhall. Kind of the biggest contradiction EVER or at least I would have said that if it hadn't have turned out to be one of the best nights in ages. Had some shots in V bar, bought vicki the most horrendous shot topped with cream, then Kate and Vicki has some tobasco one. Kate said her mouth was on fire, not surprised and considering she doesn't like spicy things - unlucky! I went sensibly for the tasty ones, teehee! We headed out of there straight to babylon and from there on it was wicked! Music was pure 90's hit after hit, sing along pretty much constantly. Some proper weirdo's in there but I think we fitted in nicely, haha. Vicki even knew some tranny called 'Steve' who was stood outside...I said it was a weird night, didn't I? We ended up going back to Kate's and discovered a suitcase full up with fancy dress clothes. We were off on a dress up extravaganza after that, how her neighbour hasn't complained yet I do not know. I left there at 4:30am. Check it out -

]

This weekend was Vic's 23rd birthday and we decided on a proper old school birthday which included bowling! I kicked arse with 131 points, winner of the girls but over powered by Dan :( Boooo! We went on to Bar 38 and Tiger which was fun times! After Albert Road outing on friday I was pretty knackered by 1:30am though so decided to call it a night. Loved spending the night with my girls and the boys! Me and Bec in Tiger -

Looking forward to a quiet one this weekend and then mammoth epic weekend the weekend after! CALVIN HARRIS! Oh! Oh! Oh! This reminds me - Calvin Harris crashing Jedward on Saturday night was EPIC! LOVED it! 'At the end of the day I had a Pineapple on my head, sorry if I caused any embarrassment.' Hahahaha. Even Scotty has now joined the Calvin bandwagon! Woop woop!

Tweeting Tweets

I never really thought i'd use twitter as much as I do. Generally thought, whats the point in having something exactly the same as facebook? Little did I know it's not anything like facebook and it's actually quite fun!

I have found out some useful, some unuseful and some plain funny things on there. Whether it be that Tim Minchin is on Buzzcocks next week (useful), Tom Mcfly likes to blag free tickets for Greenday shows when some people can't afford to go full stop (unuseful), or Calvin Harris loves to be offered double beans on a little chef breakfast in substitute of something else - 'smashed it' (plain funny).

So far have non-purposefully collected tweets from James Buckley, Calvin Harris and today Tom Fletcher - Mcfly. If anything nice to know they aren't complete hermits from the celebrity world who don't talk to anyone except the people that blag them Greenday tickets. (Yeah, i'm bitter about that! Haha!) I want to go, but can no way afford them and they're on sale today, boo :( Think it would be an amazing show.

If anyone is reading and wants to buy me some Greenday Wembley Stadium tickets i'm well up for it! 07966 704584 is my number to text :D I'm thinking chances of this are slim to none, but worth a try! Considering I have 2 followers (one of which is Paul and the other Scotty) I'm sure neither of them would treat me to this no matter how nice those boys are. Damn!

So last night was devestation city. I drove myself and Becca to Brighton for what was going to be a top night of comedy only to find out Michael McIntyre had cancelled his show because he's got 'flu' - I hope it's swine flu otherwise poor excuse! He better be on top form next Sunday (which is the rescheduled date). There wasn't much else do other than finish our kangeroo in walkabout and pay the £4 for the worthless hours parking in the NCP. Stopped off at Little Chef on the way home, it's so old school they have everything in that place including Little Chef Mints! I was debating buying some for souvenir purposes but they were £1.99 for a really small packet and I thought this was a little steep to be honest.

I hope I don't run out of money by the 15th :/ I shouldn't do...! Here's hoping.

Microwavable Toilet Roll Tubes

Tonight going to see 'Imaginarium of Dr Ponassuss'. There is every chance i've spelt something wrong there but quite frankly I can't be arsed to google it and get it correct. Should be quite good, Heath Ledgers last contibution to film before his untimely death. Dawn and I going to Nandos first - cravings have progressively been getting worse since last Thursday. We were in Brighton when all hope of devouring such delights was dashed right at the very last minute as the queue was out the door and down the street. - Not acceptable. So we're making up for it tonight, fo sho!

I am getting a long awaited hair cut tonight, why my hair decides to grow at the speed of spreading wild fire - i'll never know. Gotta try dash out of work at 4:30pm otherwise i'll be running late for the appointment at 5. Fireworks at St Georges are tonight, so traffic will be a nightmare! (McIntyre GOLD!) Tomorrow is Michael McIntyre, awesome! I'm so so excited! I would imagine there will be a rather large run down of how it went in the next blog - stay tuned!

I've had some pretty weird dreams recently, which have had me thinking. (Whats new?) I had a dream that I was randomly at a Calvin Harris gig (always a good dream!) and for some odd reason I bought 2 tickets off a random guy and got very excited about it because up until this point it was sold out. So I was sat there all chuffed, then realised what he's actually sold me was a piece of paper saying 'Did you really think i'd sold you tickets? Unlucky love, you've been mugged!' or something to that effect. HOW RUDE! I proceeded to get very upset but then later in the dream I some how got in anyway, don't ask me how, it's a dream, anything can happen in dreams clearly! Inside I saw Dave Seton, I don't think we had a conversation but he had a new girlfriend, - not a clue why this entered my dream?! Long short of it - there was a giant foam pit in the middle of the arena which was fun and at the end I some how met Calvin for a pic. I think i've got too much Calvin on the brain, literally starting to become an unhealthy obsession. :/ Oh well!

Tracey has just informed me that Albert (Who is 3 years old) has been asked to bring in some cardboard tubes (kitchen roll, toilet roll etc) to his playschool as they're using them to make something. Oh but hang on, if you bring in toilet roll tubes they have to be MICROWAVED to remove all germs. What a hell load of arse, seriously. Kids are forever sticking their fingers up their noses, hands in their mouths, eating things they're not suppose to, do they really thinking microwaving a toilet roll tube is going to save anyone from death or illness? I wonder if they're giving out instructions on how to microwave a loo roll tube to remove germs? Last time I checked microwaves are for heating/defrosting, no where in the manual does it say 'USE THIS SETTING FOR LOO ROLL DECONTAMINATION'! The world has gone mad. It probably went mad a fair while back to be honest but i'm only just noticing.

Back to the drawing board.

Zombie Nation

A really frickin' good weekend has just passed, so so good i'm going to have to write it all down!

Friday I was planning a night in, alas that never went to plan and I ended up going to Tiger with the siblings + friends. Zane Lowe was DJing in there on his DJ Hero tour. - It was Incredible! Felt like an age waiting for him to come on, but was totally worth the wait! On his twitter he said he was going to drop Calvin Harris Vs Eric Prydz remix of flashback but either I was too wasted to notice or he didn't play it? He played 'I'm not alone 'though which is ALWAYS nice. So acceptable (In the 80's) Ha! No? Okay...

Stayed in Tiger until the end, Damo and Cags disappeared somewhere - snuck off, cheeky! We all went back to Stokesy's for a nightcap and some more tunes! My car was there so Stokesy was kind enough to let me stop on his sofa bed. Slept in my new 'Zane Lowe DJ Hero' t-shirt that I caught! Was most welcome as an extra layer in the cold after we left Tiger for the artic weather. I woke up around 7am decided to drive home as looked an absolute mess! Slept for another couple of hours when I got home before starting my busy day of townage, hair dresser, getting Zombie'd up! I decided to miss footy in favour of the busy day, turns out i'm some kind of jinx as Pompey won a whopping 4-0!!!! Now THAT is what i'm talking about! Hopefully can keep the good form going for Blackburn away this w/e.

So Saturday night was party at Katrina's and then on to Walkabout - which was surprisingly fun! (Walkabout, not Katrina's, Katrina's was always going to be fun!) It was Halloween dress up so I went as a Zombie, Becca was an impressive Mario, Kate donned hair extensions and was a Nun which looked rad, and Vicki was a Lady Bird. All great costumes I thought! Thriller came on in Walkabout and I proceeded to do the 'thriller dance' whatever that is? I think I just made it up. Vicki has a video of us somewhere - here's hoping she never finds the lead to the camera! Went home about 1:30ish I think as the rest of the guys went to Bar 8 and Vicki said she doesn't enjoy it in there, so if Vicki doesn't enjoy it in there the chances are slim to none that I will! Bec, Vic and I went home, i'm sure the others had a great time, wonder what time they got in?! Hopefully we shall re-group at quiz tonight.

Yesterday was mostly spent in house-lounging clothes (yes that's a type of clothes), doing nothing with my appearance and watching TV. Grandparents came for dinner, my god one of the best roasts i've ever had bar Christmas. (As that is the king of all roasts, obvs!) Dad dropped me to get my car, and I popped round Ab's to get my laptop charger for work but that was about as productive as it got. (Fun huh?) Watched the second half of the City match ish, whilst trying to get a few moments of shut eye. We looked after Ferris all afternoon and my Dad was not too pleased when he came in to find my mum has put our 'best rug' on him to keep him warm, hahah. Awwh, poor little Fez.

Pretty much just sat around waiting for X Factor - again those moronic twins are still in the competition. It's beyond a joke. "What do you call a woman with two cunts?" - "John and Edwards Mother." Some say a bit harsh and uncalled for, I beg to differ! Was very pleased for Danyl as felt so so sorry for him this week. Olly was immense and was obvious he was going to get through. Thought Lloyd would go when it got down to it, but glad Rachel went. She was a tad boring to be honest. Rearranged my CD collection and finally settled down in bed to watch Tim Minchin Live on E4. Good way to round off a quality weekend. Although I think due to the qualityness (yes, a word!) WW may have a slight downfall this week!
