HAWKS!

Wowza's, what a super smashing great weekend!

Friday I went to see You, me and the Atom Bomb (/and an atom bomb, I haven no clue) at the fawcett with Adam, his friend Andy, Claire, Hattie and met Myke and Brad there. The music was pretty dire (Sorry Adam :P) so I sat outside with Myke and we talked lots and it was nice :) Hattie and Claire took off to Whetherspoons cos I think they hated it a little bit, and we went home a little after 11:30. I had to drive home to Augustine Rd after because I was getting up bright and early for GOING TO ANFIELD!

Got up at 7am and Dad and I set off to pick up Grandad Pete and his friend Alf. Started the journey to Liverpool and I fell straight to sleep, my my was it a good idea to bring two pillows and a blanket for the car. Just like being in bed, ish. Stopped off at services in Stafford and loads of H+W fans were milling around. Grandad moaned at the price of Tea in Burger King whilst I went to M+S and treated my self to some Fruit Sherbets, good god they're so yum. We made it to Liverpool in just under 4 hours. Dad said it was quite good timing and also said it sometimes takes him longer than that to get to Swansea when he goes on business. Val's Mum Norma kindly offered to put us up, actually i'm not sure if she offered or if Val forced it upon her but she seemed pleased to see us nevertheless! We got shown to our rooms, it was much like a hotel, hah. I got a lovely double bed with some pink duvert covers - immense.

We set off for the ground around 1pm and I didn't realise how close Goodison and Anfield are together - you can literally walk from one to the other it's that close. No wonder they never play at home on the same day, imagine policing 80,000 people, split in half absolutely hate each others guts. We got some chips and they were selling 'Chip barms' - weird northerners. We went through the turnstile and I was surprised to see the guy taking my tickets was wearing and Everton hat :

We got into the ground to find out we had the worst seats available, I don't what the chances are of that but they were seriously the shittest seats we could have had. Felt a bit sorry for my Grandad as he's got a bad back and has to sit down so if peopel were standing infront of him he couldn't see a thing! We were right in the corner, with the lowest roof EVER on top of us. However when Havant went 1 nil up neither of us cared.

Before kick off every Havant player going was warming up even if they weren't playing haha, you'd never seen so many players warming up! The game began and the Havant Goalie - Scriven managed to keep the ball out for more than 15 minutes so won a big £1,000 holiday or something from the Sun who sponsored him. Amazing. Then Havant got a corner and it was headed in by Richard Pacquette - Everybody went mental! I'm a Portsmouth lass through and through but today I was an honourary Havant fan. My Grandad tried to be un-hooligan like but I could so tell he wanted to leap up and jump around shouting, if only that wouldn't have severely injured himself, hah. It was marvy to take the lead at Anfield, can only imagine how Havant players were feeling. Liverpool got one back and everybody expected it to go on from there and for them to get a comfortable win; which they did get to be fair but not until Havant gave them another scare to make it 1-2! Little Alfie Potter, bless him he looks about 10 but he's a cracking young lad. Totally gonna go far, he's only 18. It ended up 5-2 with a superb shot by Lucas, a Benyoun hatrick and a CLEARLY OFFSIDE Crouch goal at the end. I could hear my Grandad mumbling "Don't let anymore in boys" near the end, hahah. Well Grandad, they didn't. They did themselves very proud and at the end they all jumped around with a sign that said 'Probably the best pub team to be in the FA CUP" legend.

Ray and Rita came round to Norma's and we all got a takeaway that was yumtastic. Watched Match Of the Day - Pompey managed to pull off a win against Plymouth even though we went 1 goal down at home after 5 minutes. I told Adam we'd bring sexy back and check us out, we did.
Didn't really look like we deserved it though considering Jamo's performance, another quality one. We have Preston away at Deepdale in the next round. I really want to go! I'm trying to drag Adam along and Bec wants to go so it'll be wellll fun. Get to see Emma and Chris again too which will be aces cos I don't see them often. Emma is my little ray of sunshine and Chris just smells but I suppose he comes with the package.

We got home around 2:30pm on Sunday and I got soe stuff together and drove down to Adams. We had the most perfect day together. I beat him at scrabble 3 times - OH YEAH! (Yes, our relationship is as fun filled as it sounds, jealous? You should be.) Lots of cuddles were had and we listened to New Found Glory all night. What a lovely way to round off the weekend :)

Caio for now.

What a ledger

Jesus hell fire - Heath Ledger's dead. 28 years old, complete shock. Due to play The Joker in the new Batman film, he would have been well a truly on the way up the Hollywood ladder.

Gotta go, just thought i'd document this for further reference in year 2012124343584958340. Goodbye.

Thick as Thieves

So i'm pretty much wasting some time before I cam leave work since it's my day to stay until 5:30.

Going to see The Courteeners tonight, not heard much but Claire says they're ace and she bought me the tickets for Christmas. Unfortumately she is unable to attend as she is working so I am bringing Adam along although currently he is drunk. STUDENTS! Arrghhhh, ha. I feel old :(

Saw Dashboard on Sunday at Scala. The most amazing show i've ever been to. The Setlist was PERFECT and he talks LOADS, but you could just listen to him talk for hours about his life and experiences that he's had. One heckler told him to 'get on with it' and he pretty much told the guy where to stick it, hah. Owned. Everybody else was enjoying it, think that guy needed to get out.

Set list was:

The Swiss Army Romance
Don't Wait The Good Fight
Age Six Racer
Screaming Infidelities
Again I Go Unnoticed
Dusk And Summer
Where There's Gold...
New song that he mentioned the title of but I've forgotten
Remember To Breathe
Thick As Thieves
The Best Deceptions
Carry This Picture
Vindicated
Stolen

Oncore: Hands Down

He made every song different to the album versions and he hit every note. What an amazing live singer. I only remembered him at Reading sounding slightly awful. I guess the sound wasn't that good there. A true professional, amazing! I'm so emo, it rocks. at one point I did think the guy in front of me was crying, I was about to slap him up side the head. Luckily he was not.

Carrabba said he's played 300-350 a year since and that was the best he'd ever heard vindicated. I know a lot of shit bands (and good bands) say stuff l ike that to crowds but you could tell he really meant it. And he said it was the best show he'd ever played in England. Priviledge to be there. Bought tickets this morning for St James Church 640 people capacity and he's coming back in April! Whoooop.

It's 5pm, i'm hoping I might be allowed to go a tad early...hmm...

Met Adam's Mum on Monday, she's a lovely lady and I think she likes me! Wooo! Always a bonus, she gave me a kiss anyway. Went to The Moons for lunch, Beer and a burger, except Diet Pepsi and a Burger...but it was yumtastic. Also, I bought Marshmallow FLUFF. Yes, that is what it is called. I paid £2 for a heart-attack in a jar but it is SO worth it.

Right, i'm done. Goodbye readers.

Spicy hospitals

Well, the last few days have been rather eventful.

Monday I went to the doctors after work cos i'd had a bad back for a few days and I found out I had a kidney infection so got some antibiotics.

Tuesday I went to see The Spice Girls, it was uh-ma-ZING. With extra zing. Becca, Kate, Vicki and me drove to London at around 2pm, parked at meedo's and got the tube in to Leicester Sq. At at TGI's which was marv. Got the tube to Greenwich for the O2 Arena. It's bloody wick in there, the tent looks rather large from the outside but you'd never think they fit all that they do in there; a mass of restaurants, a cinema, and the giant arena obviously!

Here are some pics:

Us in Leicester square at TGI's before Gary was pu
t in the sauce. (See photo below)

>Gary in the Sauce. He smelt for hours after this, poor gu
y.

We all got glow sticks. (We had to go all out! They were pretty rad glow sticks though. I am well not happy that I am not there right now as it was the best thing ever.
It's really not very fair that I can't work out how to write properly around these pictures. Stupid fucking blog.

So, wednesday I spent at Adam's and did pretty much nothing all day, but we did go to the Havant and Waterlooville Vs Swansea match in the evening. The game was amazing, Havant were 3 nil up after 35 minutes - nobody c0uld believe it! They went on to win 4-2 with a penalty save coming from them too! During the second half my back was really hurting and my stomach was really cramping but I just thought I would take some paracetamol when I got in. We got home and I drove back to Adams. The pan had got a little better so we went to sleep, then I woke at 1am although it seemed a lot later than that. My back was absolutely killing me and my stomach was so painful with stabbing pains. Then suddenly it got worse and worse and worse, I felt sick, the colour drained from my face, I couldn't move, I was shaking. I had to try to wake Adam up and then I had to call my Mum, I could hardly keep my eyes open. I was really scared, my parents came and picked me up at 2am and took me to the hospital, I couldn't even talk. I have never felt so ill in my life. The hospital said my antibiotics I was given weren't working and the infection was now pretty bad. So i've been off work again the last 2 days, I bet they think i'm a right pain in the arse!

Today I am taking it easy and Adam is bringing me lucozade cos he's a darlingggg :)

A picture to cheer everyone up:

CHEESEONION!

Oi, I well need to blog more. Here is one:

So wednesday night last week I vomed my guts up and managed to get into work only to go home again cos I looked like such a poor excuse for a human. I stayed home Friday and got myself better. Adam visited me Friday night and he came bearing gifts in the form of Bath salt which TURNS YOUR BATH TO JELLY (It was so amazing that I had to put that in caps), a Mr.Grasshead (Which I am yet to water so it grows) and a WII CONTROLLER. We have been looking all over for a Wii controller for so long, and now we can 2 player on Mario Party and Tennis! Oh yes! Geekathon. Anyway, I tried out the bath jelly stuff, it wasn't as exciting as the caps lock suggested. Totally just came out as weird clumpy water and made me feel slightly sick from sitting in this consistancy. But it's okay, i'm over that now and my bath is jelly free. Plus I think it was more for like 2 year olds so I didn't get the full benefit at 20 years old. Nevertheless it was a fantastic idea. We cooked Curry for my Mummy who is currently unable to do anything as she had an operation last week. The Curry was a hit and we sat down to watch a bit of the ol' TV before bed. Friday night with Johnathan Ross was on and Tom Hanks was qual. He's 51, he looks marvellous for 51.

Saturday helped around the house for a bit before thrashing Adam at Mario Party. It's cute really, he thinks he's winning and then I just sweep on through and take the lead. Muhaha! We drove over to my Nanny's to pick up some ironing she did for Mumma, I tried to teach her how to use her computer but that didn't go that well. She seemed oblivious that she'd somehow set up a hotmail account and was totally flabbergasted that she could received emails through this website! OMGZ! Adam and I got Chinese after watched Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall cry about some Chickens on Channel 4 and watch some mug get tossed on Deal or no Deal, God I hate this programme. We ate vast amounts of Chinese, Beef with Green Pepper in Chilli sauce, Chicken Szechuan style, Sweet and Sour pork balls, Prawn toast, Curry Sauce oh my it was SO GOOD. A little too good perhaps.

Sunday we watched Portsmouth perform in pantomime; oh wait NO, that was a real life football league match where we lost 2 nil to Sunderland who are fighting relegation. We were fucking dire. I hope Havant and Waterlooville are better when I go to watch them on Wednesday against Swansea in the FA cup. 'Mon Hawks!

After the pantomime, sorry footy match, I drove us down to Old Portsmouth where we went for a drink with Hattie and Claire and then Hattie came back to my house with me and we got board games. We were all very excited about playing scrabble although we never actually ended up playing it. Instead Adam and I played 'call em all' for about 3 hours and of course I won. Aha! Although funniest game EVER, on sandwich fillings Adam guessed so many and kept saying "and pickle" to all of them. I tried telling him "Stop saying 'and something'" to which his reply was "BUT IT IS CHEESE AND ONION! NOT CHEESEONION!" I thought my side was going to buckle under the laughing pressure.

We finally went to sleep around 1am, now i'm on lunch at work and writing this has filled a lovely part of my lunch right up.

Ta ta ol' trusty blog readers.

Nevermind

Word.

I've decided my life is pretty fucking cool. Work is a bit shit but I think that is a pretty small price to pay for my friends, my family and my boyfriend all being the best people in the world.

I'm in a lovey dovey horribly sickening mood. Mostly because Adam and I are the best two people in the world right now and Pumpkin Soup By Kate Nash is making me sing and want to dance, excellent. But seriously, Adam- he's awesome. Just thought I should clear that up. THIS IS AMAZING.

Moving on...

Pompey managed win against Reading after that shocking performance against Boro' where quite frankly I was embarrassed. We missed a penalty though, we don't seem to be very good at those. Hmmm. Something to work on perhaps! I well hope we don't sell Matty Taylor cos he is ace and cool and brill and stuff. Yeah.

This new big brother 'celebrity' shambles is on but it looks shit so i'm turning over to watch Never Mind the Buzzcocks cos that is infinitely better. Martin Freeman is on there, he's reet good, although that confetti film was a bit shit. The Office is where it's at. The Office was on sale for £8 in HMV i'm starting to think I should have bought it.

Kate Nash is also on NMTB, she looks a little like an old lady in what she's wearing though, how odd. I lover her music, I think she is slightly weird though. She goes out with that cribs dude though and he is also a bit strange so perhaps this is why. Poor love.

Right i'm bored now, bye.
