What a wonderful feeling

The last few days have been a mixture of awesome and shit. Work has mostly been horrible due to Adele leaving and me getting all of her work andnot understanding the vast majority of it. I feel silly for asking stuff all the time because to be honest I probably know it but i'm never sure. Hmmm.

The awesome parts have been spending the entirety of last weekend with Adam. Friday we went to Edge of the Wedge for Abbie's birthday and saw Myke, Claire, Steph, Paul, Kitty and some other peeps. Was a good timeeee, Adam and I walked to Little Johnny Russell's where we met Caroline and her friend Natasha but we didn't stay long as Adam was pretty ill so we popped home and I made stir fry cos I was bloody starving, ha! It was goooood. We stayed up until like 4am, talking and sharing stories and stuff, it was so lovely :)

On Saturday we did a little shopping, Adam bought a shirt for 3 quid and I bought a jacket for 3 quid from H&M, bargainus! Think Adam bought some other things oh yes, some film from jessops and some jeans from primark. Everything was a bargain except the film. Naughty film.We went to the hong kong tea bar for lunch, it was really nice :)

Saturday evening, Adam and I went to Claire's house for pizza and movies. Bless her lil heart she'd gone out and bought us pizza and got one made at asda! They were gorgeous and then we watched the texas chainsaw massacre. I think this was a slight mistake because we spent the entire time watching it and disecting it saying if we were the girl who could have got away we would have left our friends and took off, hah! I was scared, the bloke is a freak of nature. I went to the loo afterwards and Claire made Adam put on a scary mask and I came out and it scared me :( Not as much as Claire pretending there was monsters behind the curtain though!

Adam stayed at mine for the first time and My Mum and Adam (Other Adam) came in after having been to fancy dress. Mum was bubbles and Adam was Lou from little britain. Damien was Andy and Caroline was Vicki Pollard but they didn't come home. Adam looked amazing as lou and my Mum came up the stairs sdrunk holding her fat suit breasts saying "Hello darrllinggg do you want to suck on these?" OH MY GOD. Talk about throwing Adam in the deep end! He said it was fine but I swear he was scared to death.

Sunday was wick, stayed in bed for long times, ate lamb chops, went for a walk up the hill and took manya photos. Adam made my jacket all muddy and my jeans having only just put them on from being in the wash! Naughty.

Check us out:AHHH!! There's an Emily on meeeee!!!

Ha, good times. x

I can figure out the point of anything

GIVE ME THIS BACK.

Went to watch Adam play football in the soddin' rain yesterday and then we all went home to watch the footy in Yates. Everyone thought England would walk it, by everyone I mean the entire population and the England staff.

What an absolute disgrace England were. After all the shit performances we've put in over this campaign I thought we'd pull something out the woodwork or at least improve slightly. However, we've just been absolute bollocks the whole qualifying stage with the odd moment of brilliance, a VERY odd moment that was. McClaren opted to start Carson in a game we needed to get at least a point from. WHAT THE FUCK WAS HE THINKING?! David James who is the goal keepers for Portsmouth, 7th in the premiership, last 3 games consisted of 2 clean sheets and 1 game he let in an own goal which was no way his fault. What sort of fucked up logic has McClaren got playing someone who can't even get in the first team of their respective club and has to be lent out on loan cos he's not even good enough for their bench! THIS WAS NOT A GAME TO TRIAL YOUNG PLAYERS. Fucking too late now and he's gone and lost his job this morning. The shortest reign in England Management history. Congrats, one for the bloody trophy cabinet.

Crouch's goal was a great touch and he composed himself well. Thought Lampard took a great penalty too even though I thought he was going to miss it with his England penalty record. It's a bloody shame the rest of the match was a shambles. Wayne Bridge may as well kill himself, nobody would notice. Twat. Pretty much left yates with my head in my hands, extremely close to tears. Yeah, i'm a loser, I don't care!

Adam is ill, which has made today a pile of wank. But what really hacked me off in a big BIG way was work. What is all this madness? Adele did a runner basically and now all her work is left! busy busy busy.

Can't actually wait to go out for superheros for Lucy's birthday i'm being Mrs Incredible, wickeddd! It's an ace outfit I found for £20. Cheapo! On another fancy dress note I tried on my Mum's 'bubbles' outfit earlier oh my how funnyyy! Photo on request.

Today...

was absolute tripe. Except going to the pub with Becca that was fun and she made me laugh greatly. I love her. She rolled her car down the hill without touching pedals, she's an example to us all.

Anyway, bollocks day and I expect tomorrow to be equally shite. Gareth isn't talk to me, gutted about that more than anyone will know. I guess I can't do much about it though. Arrrghhh.

All in all, day = crap. Now = sleep. Goodbye= end of blog.

Oh Happy days!

How happy am I right now?

Despite breaking up with Gareth and feeling shit about that for a week I am firmly on the road to feeling pretty amazing.

Adam and I had been friends for about a month before either one of us thought we liked each other in a slightly more friendly way. The fact that I am now actually amazingly into Adam is definitely not the reason for breaking up with Gareth. It would have had to happen and I think ending that kind of opened my eyes to the fact that Adam and I are clearly going to have/have something awesome.

So we're giving a relationship a go and it is kind of strange at the moment because I feel similar to the way I felt when I first started going out with Dave. Like I just 'knew' it would be amazing and I feel the same in this situation. I can't wait to see what this relationship brings. After months of lulling around having a few minor 'relationships'; if you can call them that, I am so so so happy so be embarking on this one and feel quite confident about it. Of course, this could all go tits up and we could be gone tomorrow but I do hope not, hah!

I got back from Ireland last night and went straight to Adam's, we cuddled and slept and had such a lovely time and then today pretty much just stayed in bed all day and listened to some funky tunes. He's coming up for dinner on thursday, parents are excited to meet him and I think they will get on marvellously.

Feel soooooooooo great today, if bloody knackered!

We took pictures like the facebook/myspace/blog whores we are. Here is a sample:

My hair look stoooooopid cos i'd been laying and Adam looks stoooopid cos, well, he is. Gutted.

Word

So, Dublin is on Thursday. I really ought to start packing something. Jane will be most impressed with the amount of stuff I will manage to fit in a small bag. She'll probably bring a suitcase or something, haha. Although knowing her she'll turn up with a purse and be like Mary poppin's dragging hat stands and umbrellas out of it. In all honesty, I wouldn't mind being defeated by that.

I have VERY little money. Hmm. This could prove to be a slight problem however, i'm confident that i'll get through it and Jane and I will have a marvy time in ol' Dub. I have got her a fabby present which she can display with pride, oh yeah! She better.

I need to remember to put Emma's address on her birthday card otherwise it clearly isn't going to get to her on time, if at all.

Today is going to be a shit day.

Sugar! Ahhhhh honey honey...

Yesterday I went from work to Adam's Uni room in town. He had ordered me popping candy to cheer me up except it didn't come in time for our sugar fest so instead he went to the shop and bought like the most sweets i've ever seen. Frosties, Sherbet, Lollies, Sherbet lollies, Haribo, Giant Cola Bottles and a weird thing that looks like an alligator crossed with some sort of rodent, + more. We took a walk down the sea front and Adam being a photography student brought his camera and he took some pictures. We went to the arcade and Adam was adament he would win me a toy from the grabber machine. I think he spent about 4 quid in the end and eventually was only good enough to win me a very mini Winnie the Pooh, sucker! But it was a tremendous mini Winnie and I shall treasure it. Although, it is holding some sort of duck which is slightly odd. We then went onto the actual beach to light the 3 sparklers I had left but it was so windy the lighter just went out as soon as we lit it. It took us about ten minutes to actually light them and we almost gave up. Ended up huddling in the corner to shield the wind and it still took us ages, maybe we're just plebs. After the sparklers and eating sherbet which mad our mouths blue check us out!:

How rad are the crazy sparkler lines?! Loveeeee it.

We look totally awesome and not like lepers in the slightest. I had a real ace time hanging out and it seems sweets and hyper is now our 'thing'. He asked what i'm getting him for Christmas, obviously sweets. Duh. Can't wait for popping candy next week! Yes, I know; i'm such a loser. Who knew a blue tongue was so attractive. Ooooh la la.
Picking Gareth up from the station at 5:30pm tonight, whoop. Think we'll go out and ill try see if anyone is out in town for us to meet up with otherwise we'll probably end up getting bladdered by ourselves, it's all fun and games.
Oh! I totally forgot about the haunted look out point! Okay, soi it's not entirely haunted but it was bloody scary and Adam made me jump twice, yes TWICE. Like I didn't learn from the last time he said "boo". He was just as scared though, I just wasn't smart enough to think of saying 'boo' and some point. I actually thought someone may have jumped out and stabbed us or something but we got through it. Walked back to his, I almost fell asleep then I got a taxi home and spoke so much to the driver in the way that he drove straight past my house, what a dingus.
I'm moving positions in my job. Same job but a different team. I'll now be working for distribution instead of public but i'll only be sitting a little way from where I am now so won't lose the friends i've made. Yay :)

Dub

Next thursday I am off to Dublin with Jane. I'll be getting a flight by myself for the first time ever! I'm a little scared about that's but mostly because i'll either be late/forget something/lose my passport. But I am very excited! Shopping, drinking, sight seeing! Possibly the zoo! Wahey!

Temple Bar, perhaps we'll go in there for a bevvy, tis my aim to get Jane at least a little drunk since it's her birthday n'all! Going shopping on saturday for a gift for herself and hopefully a dress for my work christmas party. I need to go in uneedus to get some accessories for gangster! Whoop.

I just watched the new Spice Girls video, my they've grown. What's the deal with them being half naked? Talking of half naked, or rather whole naked; watched that Autopsy programme last night, eek :| Very disturbing. Well disturbing and cool. They were showing how to avoid accidents or help someone avoid death if they've been injured. They showed a burst main artery and timed how long it would take you to bleed to death turns out about 3 minutes, ahh! All very interesting, i'll be watching the next shows. A bit creepy seeing the actual dead people getting cut open but someone's gotta do it I suppose.

I'm about to watch a programme on secret millionnaires. This woman says she spend £20,000 on nic nackery! Christ. I won't have that much in a year.

I'm done.

Waaaaaaaalllllllllessss

So, I passed my driving test, woohoo! Just waiting for my pink license now. Thanks to everyone for the kind cards and stuffffff.

Pompey lost to Blackburn in the cup last week, this was a bit of a downer as we didn't play anywhere near to our best. However, we went to Newcastle last Saturday and thrashed them 1-4 having been 3 nil up in the first 12 minutes. Wicked. We are now 5th in the Barclays Premier League and what a fine spot it is too. We need to bit Citeh on Sunday to go above them since they're now in 3rd. Who'd have thought the top 5 would look how it looks at the start of the season? Not me.

I went to Cardiff at the weekend and on friday Gareth and I went out with Steve, he was pretty trashed when we got there and proceeded buying us Jaegermeister test tube shots (which tasted fowl) and then setting sambuca's alight in his mouth. He's a crazy fool that one, but a jolly good laugh. Met his girlfriend and we went with his 'dad' and everyone to a kareoke bar, dear god there were some awful people giving it some on the microphone. One bloke singing Nickelback just didn't even have a clue as to how the song even went. Poor love.
I got slightly drunk very quickly (What's new?) and asked Gareth if we could go home, Steve went out for a cigarette and said he'd be back but he took way too long so we just left and I think he called asking where we'd gone but I really needed to go home!

Saturday we went shopping and Gareth bought a pair of jeans and I bought some underwear, yes that was all. I was most diappointed. Oh wait, I bought some tissues too. Joy. We walked around for ages, had some starbucks and KFC. Then we found a pub to watch the remainder of Soccer Saturday since we were 3-1 up and I wanted to see how the game was going to pan out. We ended up winning by 4 goals to 1 and all in all it was a good day. We rounded it off with a trip to the cinema and watched '30 days of night' with Josh Harnett about a place in a Alaska which has 30 days of no light and a gang of vampires take over and start destroying the place, it sounds shit when I describe it like that but I thought it was pretty bangin'.
Gareth bought us enough food in the cinema to feed an army and we realised how stupid we were and I laughed for about 20 minutes non stop about several things which, I can't even remember now. But I literally had tears running down my face.

The Calzaghe fight was on at the millennium stadium and there was people everywhere in the City Centre so we found a pub to go in but it seemed a bad idea to go in somewhere with about 100 customers and 2 bar staff so we just went home, I began to feel slightly ill too (probably from the nachos, diet coke, popcorn and ice cream...) so good job really. Managed to catch MoTD online and our goals were ace, obviously. Then cuddled up, went to sleep and woke up the next morning to go out for lunch. We ended up going to Great Western for a lightish lunch. Then we got bored so went shopping again, this time I bought a scarf, gloves, trainers and some pants. Much more productive and we were only shopping for about 45 minutes! We found GIANT sweets in topshop. An actual giant chuppa chupps lolly pop, it was a tenner ut by golly, worth it.

I am going to light sparklers tonight since I didn't get to use then last night. Whoop.
