Oompa Lumpa Doopeedeedooo!

This is my 223rd post. I figured I better get off 222 anything like that is slightly weird. Like always looking at the clock at 11:11, why do people do that?

In other news, I've discovered a nice little slot in my steering wheel where my phone fits rather nicely. It's great for talking on hands free. In bad news my notes is mugging me off and appears to be grinding to a halt every 10 minutes. B-O-R-I-N-G!

The weekend just gone was pretty rad, spent almost the entirety with Jay, a bit more time with his family which are all amazing. So very friendly and welcoming! Friday we watch sport relief and had some dinner, Saturday we watched Pompey in an epic 3-2 win over Hull with two last minute stunners to win us the match, wahoo! This put me in a great mood to go home and cook chilli. We had taco trays and garlic tear and share. It was yummy, even if I did only get an 8 out of 10. Pah!

Lazy Sunday with Super Sunday. I went home and started to watch Iron Man but fell asleep, I watched the rest yesterday and it was a pretty good film. New found love for RDJr. Yummy! Gonna watch The Lost Boys tonight, then get on to borrowing more movies since Jay's collection is ridiculously large. At least i'll know what to get him for birthdays/christmas!

Turkey was all booked today, craziness! Cannot wait for holiday of a life time! 15 days in the sunshine and a wedding to boot! I have to seriously think of a reading. I'm so stumped. =/

We play Chelsea tomorrow, is there even any point in going? Of course I will attend but it may be at the expense of humiliation. Although to be fair we have fought so hard over the last few matches, bring it on!

Got any Stirrers?

Oh! The weekend was one of the best ever, so eventful!

First time away with Jay, and by the looks of it first of many! :) Friday after work I picked up Jay, went home and skidaddled out the house with the fam for the road trip to scummy slough. Had a bit of a travel duel with Damo as we went different ways, I don't know in what world Dad thought he might win against numero uno fast driver Damo but he did, and alas he didn't. Har har! Although bad times for Jay, Mum and I because we were in the losing car!

We arrived at Travelodge and we each had a family room, £70 for 4 family rooms for 2 nights - I think, ladies & gentleman, that is what we call a BARGAIN.

We all went to the parents room for a small amount of nibbles and began drinking. Champagne and Vodka/Diet Coke's. Boys were on beer. We went to a pub round the corner with the idea of going for some food a bit later on. We all got a bit side tracked in the pub and about 20 million drinks later we were dancing to the band that were playing and some random Ex-England Rugby player called 'The Judge' (I have no idea) started buying us shots. Bad times to be honest. Completely pushed all of us over the edge including Jay who was horrifically ill in the bathroom until at least 2:30am. Eventually he came to bed after i'd been asleep a little while - only to get up and go back to the bathroom, haha aw the poor little love! To be fair he had, had about 5 Jack Daniels, 2 pints, a shot of Sambuca and some champagne. Never mix kids!

We all dragged ourselves out of bed the next day, went to a fry up and then travelling into London. You'd think we'd be able to wal kto the Slough train station with no problems but no, we had to go and find two guinea pigs along the road in a shoe box....RANDOM! So I phoned the RSPCA and tried to save the poor little buggers. It ended up with a bit of a guinea pig chase round Slough as somebody had moved them and the RSPCA called to say they'd gone to pick up the ones i'd reported and they weren't there, then had another report of some guinea pigs in a shoe box in a different place in Slough, I hope they were found... :/ Who would leave two guinea pigs in a shoe box on the street?!

We made it into London after waiting 27 hours at the train station for the stupid train man to process our train vouchers but we eventually got there! Went straight to camden for a little looksy around, ate some yummy food and then headed off to Leicester Square for Alice In Wonderland at the Odeon. A really good film I thought, although for some it may have been an excuse for a little nap! Depp played a great part I think, and 3D was extra goodness! Ate a Curly Wurly and Dad dropped the minstrels all over the floor, it was a stereotypical cinema outing, especially with Damien throwing popcorn at us! We crossed over to Covent Garden and went for a drink in a place called The Porters Inn which was literally a maze! Headed over to The Roadhouse which was amazing! We had dinner and cocktails and there was plenty of bonding going on which was so so awesome! How long have I waited to find someone that ALL my family like and someone that Damo and Ads can get on with? Forever?! This past month has just been totally out of this world and I have not been happier in a long long long longgg while :-) AND he gets to come to Turkey, hoorahhhh! No longer the odd one out, the lonely one, the one with nobody, little old Emily, - I am now Emily, one with a pretty amazing boyfriend!

Jay and I went home a little earlier than everyone else on Saturday night, we were totally flagging, got the train home and went straight to bed, watched Lost on the laptop (Yeah, we're cool) and just generally relaxed. We went on a wild goose chase round Richmond to find a park space eventually Jay, Abby, Caroline and me legged it and went ahead into London. Jay and I went to Camden again and he bought a couple of t-shirts, I picked up some ridiculous glasses for the other two gay boys and saw the most beautiful converse known to man. Purple suede! I realise that sounds vile but they were actually lush. So screw you!

Got home around 7:30, unpacked my stuff, took Jay home and ate some chinese. What a great weekend :)

Right now I am happy happy happy, and it's a gooooooooooood feeling! Bring on more happiness! x

Scream!

Tonight I will be embarking on a weekend away with the family, i'm super excited because for once I will not be the odd one out for I have found a pretty amazing boyfriend (I say found like I just picked him up off the street...) and there will be a nice even number - 8 of us. Woohoo!

Jay met Ads and Damo on Wednesday something I was totally dreading because those boys are well...BOYS. Luckily they were pretty ace and said they thought he was lovely so, so far i'm onto a winner - eeee! I forgot this feeling for so long, and I am so so happy! 2010 is officially greatness.

Met Dawne for Nandos last night - had a great time but not before some complete nutter asked if I could 'keep him in my car', to which I laughed somewhat nervously and said no. Then he asked if I was going on a date to which I said I was meeting a friend. Then he said "Can I come?" Well after a small amount of consideration i've decided I haven't a fucking scooby who you are and you're pretty much harassing me so I'M GOING TO PASS , thank you. I can't imagine he's ever tried that on someone else and it's actually gone well.

Got Bublé tickets today, something to look forward to with TV buddy. Talk of TV buddy!! - Scream if you know the answer is going to be aired on WATCH channel (Sky Digital channel 109 and Virgin TV channel 124) Sunday May 2nd 7pm GET INVOLVED! Not sure entirely when my show is on but that is when the show starts getting aired. Woohoo!!

Wemmmmmbleeeyy!!!!

Pretty much the best weekend this year without fail.

Things that happened:

-Friday night Jay and I went bowling, I absolutely killed him in the second game 155 points, woop! We then went back to his, had a curry, watched Lost, and.
-Pompey beat Birmingham 2-0 in the FA Cup Quarter Final and we now play at WEMBLEY for the Semi-Final. HELL YEAH
-Saturday night, went out with the fam and some friends, the only thing missing was Jay! (HAd another Curry, hmmm overdose slightly.) Met a man who had, had hiccups for the entire day.
-Sunday tried on dresses with Mum and Nanny, went to Jay's, visited Nanny & Grandad, ate dinner at the beefeater, went back to Jay's, fell asleep.

A weekend full of all the things I love. AND, best part is - I think this weekend is going to be even better! We're all off to Slough/London for a meal, 2 nights in a travelodge, portobello road, Alice in Wonderland 3D at Odeon Leicester Sq, The Roadhouse, and many drinks! So excited!

This week itself is pretty cool to be honest. Not sure what is happening tonight but I pretty much think i'm gonna go home and watch The Oscars before Dad goes mental that I used up 5 hours of our recording space on V+ .... whoops! Tomorrow is footy, we're up against Birmingham again. I'm hoping for much of the same as the weekend please! :D Wednesday is ol' Father's birthday - i've got him a cool gift so I can't wait for him to open it! The fam are coming round for takeaway I think as Mother Green is working late so unable to cook. Jay will meet the fam for the first time (well Abs, Ads, Damo and Cags anyhoo). I'm really excited for this because they will definitely like him :) Thursday i'm going to Wharf to meet Dawne for a Nandos. I swear to god my bank account will be broke after the weekend. Not good. Friday out Slough/London adventure begins. Yippee!!

Over and out.

I believe it's called 'ARGH'.

What an absolute douchebag, I am.

Having made a post about how I didn't think anything could go wrong this year, i'm wondering if it is too late to retract? Work seems to be shit, cft/s wants to mug me off at any given opportunity and I seem to have an issue 'going with the flow' or whatever it's called.

This is all a bit too dramatic for my liking. I need a new job.

ARGH.

Uhhhhhmazing!!

So basically this year is AMAZING and i'm convinced nothing bad can happen from here on in.

Things that are making me happy RIGHT NOW -

1. 15 days in the SUNSHINE and my sister getting married in Turkey in 12 weeks time!
2. NYC in Sept with Dawne - Hell yeeeeeeah!
3. Jay - his general brilliance.
4. IOW Festival and the family goodness it brings. Plus Becstar is coming in for the festivities!
5. V FESTIVAL - Possibly the best line up since forever. Mainly KINGS OF LEON. There is quite a high percentage that I will keel over before they even begin the first song but it will TOTALLY be worth it. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm hyperventilating a little just thinking about it. Caaaaalm.
6. Mumford currently playing on Itunes.

My hopes are so high that your kiss might kill me, So won't you kill me, so I die happy? My heart is yours, to fill or burst, To break or bury, or wear as jewelry. Whichever you prefer.

There is totally more stuff but I feel amazing, totally and utterly amazing. Nothing can burst my bubble, muhahaha!
